Air Quality Roles and Responsibilitie Include:

• Secure and maintain air quality permits and assist line organizations in specifics to ensure compliance with all permit requirements.
• Assess the impact of new air quality laws and regulations on SNL operations and develop future implementation plans to maintain compliance.
• Establish and maintain a surveillance program including air, soil and vegetation sample and analysis in an attempt to identify and quantify long-term effects of air pollutants resulting from SNL operations.
• Assess any potential impacts of new and modified sources through emission testing, emission calculations, air sampling, or air dispersion modeling.
• Establish and maintain a meteorological monitoring program to assist in the assessment of planned or unplanned releases of air pollutants from SNL.
• Interact regularly with our internal and external customers, including all ES&H support liaisons, SNL line organizations, SNL legal, DOE, EPA, and the City of Albuquerque regarding compliance issues.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all regulated and potentially hazardous chemicals from SNL operations.
• Monitor ambient air quality and stack emissions to assure compliance with federal and local rules and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of air quality expertise and work to improve the knowledge of our customers on this subject.
• Interact with line organizations prior to the design, contract for purchase, installation, and operation of all air emissions control equipment.

Water Quality Roles and Responsibilitie Include:
